Chimilas or ette ennaka ('own people') is an Amerindian people living in Colombia, the indigenous reservation integrated by the areas of Issa Oristunna (Land of New Hope), and Ette Buteriya (Own Thought), in the municipality of Sabanas de San Angel, department of Magdalena. They also live in Itti Takke (New Land), municipality of El Copey, department of Cesar, constituted as a Resguardo in 2021, as well as in Naara Kajmanta (Our Mother), in the corregimiento of Gaira, Santa Marta, Magdalena. 37.5% of the Chimila live dispersed, outside of these settlements.
