Lito: The cockerel of the rocksIt is one of the most striking and beautiful birds of the Amazon rainforest. The plumage of the male has a luminous orange tone and, on the contrary, the females have more opaque and dull tones. It is one of the strangest Amazonian birds due to its unique morphology. It feeds mainly on various fruits whose seeds it digests and disperses, thus being an instrument of nature in the preservation of its ecological environment. The short beak, legs and toes are strong. Both sexes have a permanently deployed crest of disc-shaped feathers (much larger in males).
