Verbena is a genus of herbaceous or semi-woody plants, annual or perennial, with about 250 species. Creeping with simple, opposite leaves. Native to both hemispheres. They prefer sandy, light, fast-draining soils. Usually found in groups of numerous individuals with flowers of the same color, associated with other colorful species/varieties, which together form an attractive sight.
