Titi: The Titi Monkey has a crest of whitish hairs from the forehead to the nape of the neck, the back is brownish, the arms and legs are white or yellowish, the tail is orange at the base and black at the tip. They weigh an average of 500 g. They eat fruits, nectar, fresh leaves or shoots, insects and lizards. The gestation period lasts an average of 170 days. The mothers carry the young for the first week, after which the father and other members of the group take over, but give each young to the mother for nursing.
