The Amoura are another indigenous group that currently survives with about 170 members, and despite colonization and the wars and conflicts that have happened in the country, they refuse to disappear as an indigenous group, that is something that we must highlight in this community. The indigenous people are located on the Orinoco and Meta rivers, more precisely near the department of Casanare.
